MIX IT!
Topic: Communicate the community
Trade fairs are places of communication and encounters. Here, people meet and create social systems, send and receive information, trade with each other, influence each other, interact with each other on an interpersonal level, share their thoughts, share their knowledge and their insights and take part, they do something together – in short: they communicate in the community.
The challenge: The participants of the Golden Shirt Award put this aspect of communication in the community into practice for textiles – using the techniques of embroidery, print, flock, rhinestone and laser! The community itself turned into a theme.
Be creative: The participants demonstrated their design and technical skills in the area of textile finishing.
MIX IT: By combining at least two of the decorating techniques embroidery, print (screen printing, transfer printing and digital printing), flock, rhinestone and laser branding the participants created a completely new mix!
